Is an elitest snob for a presidential candidate still an issue?

Remember when Republicans made hay about John Kerry looking French and windsurfing?

Now we have a candidate who speaks French, jet skis, particiaptes in a sport called dressage where his horse gets a $77,000 tax deduction.

Question, is this still an issue?

Remember when Dumbocrats didnt care about a rich candidate? Or that the candidates owned horses and took as many tax deductions as possible? I remember dumbocrats on here in 04 claiming Kerry paying 11.7% federal income tax rate on 5.6 million was his duty as an American.

Dems don't care that a candidate is rich. They care that he bets against the middle class and America.

It always was an issue for me. However, Romney paying a lower tax rate than many isn't nearly as bad as Kerry doing the same. Kerry broke the golden rule badly since he advocated higher taxes on people like himself.

How in hell is having a dressage horse as a business proposition more elitist and snobbish than "bitter people clinging to their guns and religion"?

Entering your horse in the Olympics is not a business.

As for the clinging to religion its actually very common for people in trouble to ask God for help. Even those who have never believed before.

I know they dont care if they are rich. That is why all the talk about him being rich is pathetic faux rage.

You should also remember how well that worked out for them.

The problem is Mittens already pays a lower tax rate then the middle class and he wants to lower the top rate even further.

BTW - Romney's tax plan will result in a middle class tax increase.

So what? Why do dumbocrats now care if a rich candidate pays a lower rate than the avg American?

Obama's plan is a middle class tax increase. Welcome to the world of paying for big govt.

The people who will be paying the "tax" from ACA are people who dont qualify for medicaid and wont have employer provided insurance. Who the hell does this tax hit again? That is right, the middle class.

But that doesnt answer my question about why dumbocrats this cycle care about a rich candidate paying a low federal income tax rate.

LOL, wow, is this how bad it's got that we think Obama is the salt of the earth struggling every day of his life forcing that Kobi beef down his throat and making Michele jetset around the world on our dime. We really do need to kill our Constitution and claim Obama God. Oh, wait, anyone who thinks "snobbery" is an issue when we have the fucking Obama's shoving their $7000 shirts and shoes in our faces has already set them as deities.

Tell you what when one of those (3% of the population) shows up in the emergency room we'll send you the bill.

Gotta luv the way Republicans have developed a sudden allergy to their own idea!

We already get the bill. But that doesnt change the fact the ACA is a middle class tax.

Again why are dumbocrats now against a rich low tax paying candidate?

Well if both a republican and a democrat can both belong to Skull and Bones, then there must not be much difference between them.

There really isnt when you get down to the bigger policy decisions. They like to play up their differences on things the American people place far down on the list of priorities to make the parties look different. Mainly abortion\contraception and gay marriage.

Nice try asshat. We are going to try and pretend that the media was just as harsh on Kerry's fortune?

Stop being a tool asshat. The media has not been harsh on Romney about it. It's his opponents, just as it was Kerry's opponents. The same Republicons that attacked Kerry for his wealth give Romney a pass.
