Is American Express BLUE required for Hot Deals now ?

For almost every post in the Hot Deals forums that has some awesome sounding title...
You click on the thread only to find out that the last thing mentioned is you need an AmEx Blue card to price match for the price in the title.

ARgh...Why cant they put that you need BLUE in the title? :|

Does everyone have one of these cards?
Poll is up in order to find out...

As much as i'd like one...i don't need anymore credit cards. Just finished paying off all but my sears card. I hate the fact a lot of those deals you need Amex blue to take advantage of it.

I've held off getting an AMEX Blue for over a year. I kept thinking they were going to end the pricematch policy as soon as I got one (judging from all the money they must lose from AT Hot Deals alone, who knows). I still haven't applied.

Most of the Hot Dealers who know what they're doing and have been around for a while know to put stuff like after rebate, Amex Blue, eBates, etc. in their thread titles.

No having an Amex Blue isn't a requirement but considering you can pricematch and get up to $250 back per purchase with a max of $1,000 a year surely does sweeten the deal.

I'm still pissed that I didn't get on in this deal, if I had an Amex Blue I would have been all over it. But like NccOps said, the last thing I need is more debt.

Thats one of the threads I was stoked about till I opened it...How hard is it to put BLUE in the title ?

I personally dont think that BLUE Hot Deals should be allowed....

Nice free advertising American Express is getting...
