Is AMD fusion going to be a legit gaming platform?

One of the things I wonder about is whether FPU instructions will migrate to GPU instructions or if we will see Transmeta like translation of things like AVX -> GPU instructions.

I also wonder if it was engineering or market reasons that SB gpu's aren't going to have a nOpenCL or equivalent compatibility.
