Is AMC one of those channels that edits everything out of movies?

I guess the topic says it all, I'm not too familiar with AMC. There's a movie coming on i want to see but i don't want to see the G rated version of it. I want all the violence and cursing to be intact

I think they are one of the best movie channels other than the premium channels (hbo, etc). They do edit and censor, but its tolerable and better than any other basic tv channel by far. They also have fewer commercials than all the other channels.

I watched The Unforgiven a few nights ago on AMC and i couldn't really notice any editing they did.

Also, its the only regular channel that I can watch a movie like Goodfellas and not be disgusted with all the editing.

Thanks. Ah well, I guess DVDs are the only ways to watch movies nowadays.

Yep. The first few times they showedThe Osterman Weekend & The Deer Hunter they were completely unedited, but AMC must have received a lot of complaints, 'cause since then everything has been edited for content.
