I would say white features and pretty fair skin, as well. Depends on the lighting.

So did they not put any thought into that or did they want a bi-racial culture in the game?
 
The person who Alyx is modeled after is East Indian. My friend from work says she is in his MBA program classes and is the wife of a Valve employee. My friend says in real life she is a hottie.
 
Didn't you see a picture of Alyx's mom at one point in the game? I think it was in the second lab when you were with the doctor and Alyx.

Crap, I just went past that part.

 
I say that Dr Eli was bangin that one white scientist. Which would explain why Alyx looks half white/half black.
