Is all PC3200 ram underclockable? (eg. will it run on a PC2700 machine?)

I'm thinking about buying this or this but the machine it's going into will only take up top PC2700 RAM.

Will this PC3200 stick work OK in that machine?

Also, which stick of RAM listed above is better? (Mushkin or Crucial?)
 
get the first stick... it will simply run at ddr 333 in your board, would be more overclockable in that board, and would allow you to recycle it in a future build
 
I've actually ordered a different stick from the two I mentioned. It's Corsair Value Select PC3200 (512MB). I've had good experience with Crucial RAM in the past...

Is that a good stick I ordered?
