Is alien card (green card) an acceptable form of ID for drinking?

I don't see why not. Do you think bouncers or servers would be stupid enough to reject it?
 
It worked for me until I got my DL. It only got turned down my a club in Kansas City that would accpet passports (which I didn't have) but not green cards. I think it should work like 99% of the time, you just have to tell them it's a green card if they ask.
