Is Alertpay legit?

I got a couple of responses from craigslist to use alertpay.com or usps to send payments.

1. Thanks for the mail,am ok with the price for the Laptop and am still interested in buying from you,i will pay 1100usd rigth?,I will like you to withdraw the advert from Craigslist cause i am surely buying from you,I will be paying with alertpay you can visit there website( www.alertpay.com), Is that ok by you.Let me know before we proceed.Pls. Get back to me with your Contact Info and the information for signing up with alertpay so i can make your payment ASAP. Ok?

I am skeptical about all the inquiries including the USPS one. I'm only used to ebay/paypal. Do you guys have any suggestions/cautions that I should be aware of? Thanks.

If you have to ask, it is a scam.

Additionally, if you can not tell from the messages you posted that it is a scam you have no right doing business on the internet.

Hmmm, let's see:
Paying via "AlertPay",
Lives in the States, but wants it shipped to a 3rd. world country,
Has his own FedEx account,
Paying more than the asking price.

Sure sounds legit to me!

Alertpay.com site is Not a scam. in and of itself.

But the way you presented your post threw up red flags.

Of course you must recieve full payment even to and including getting the USPS money order cashed first!!

If anything at all makes you uncomfirtable don`t do it!!
