is AGOIA on every athlon xp's now?

agoia = great core, i unlocked mine and am running 166X10 at default voltage. i'm wondering how high it will go on default voltage, seems to be stable running loops of 3dmark for 24 hours. i'v read people get theris up to 1.8ghz with 1.85 Vcore, i am running water cooling but i'm not sure i want to up the vcore.

got 8074 on 3d mark scores
sandra mem is showing 2325/2148
(samsung pc2700 cas 2.5 2-5-2, 1T)

BURN BABY BURN!

Athlon inferno.

I see you have recieved your CPU, could you give us the whole stepping lines markings on the core?

We could then perhaps, tell you when it was made.

I'm recieving a March 2002 AthlonXP 1600... AROIA-Y core...

Anyway, not all Athlon's produced now are AGOIA.

Either way, AGOIA and AROIA are the best OCers (still a debate, some people say they OC the same, others say AROIA is better).

I just got two of the $50 1600+ XP's @ Newegg. They are both week 19 AGOIA-Y's. Both of them are running @ 1.74ghz @ 166mhz FSB @ default voltage. Excellent chips..1.8ghz with a little extra voltage is almost a certainty with these. $50 for a 1.8ghz CPU is on hell of a "bang for the buck" IMO...

🙂

I don't suppose any of you chaps would like to order one of those 1600+ AGOIA chips from Newegg and ship it to Canada declared as a gift so I don't have to pay duties... 😉

i have a 1600+ agioa, but am too chicken to o/c. running stock speed 😱
You only live once....Crank it up!! 😀 If you don't want to up the voltage, just see where it will max out at default.

Throw it in a KT333 board with a 1/5 divider and run it @166/166 default voltage. The performance increase is incredible!🙂
