Is Age of Empires 2 any good?

Someone just game me the game (he didn't like it). Is it worth installing?

Awesome game, I loved it. If you like strategy games, play it, you won't be disappointed.

Make sure you have the Add-on AOE2 Conqurers, it makes it MUCH better

don't install the game, it's evil i tell you! you cannot stop playing when you start, your grade will drop, you will forget about your girlfriend/wife, your job performance will suffer. just stay away!

It's all worth it though.

AOE 2 is a great strategy game if that's what you like. I really enjoyed going through the campaigns. The expansion pack was cool as well and added some interesting features. Anyone hear if they are going to release a AOE3?

Not sure about that but this spring they will have a new one called Age of Mythology that add's some fantasy creatures and stuff

Did they make you destroy the games as one of those steps? I don't know if I could do that.

I loved AOE2, but do yourself a favor and get Cossacks. It's much, much better.
