IS Adobe Flashplayer really the shiznit?

Is this the reason why it takes 10 years to release a new version? Maybe a version that can play some silly hulu videos using some GPU assistance?

Sometimes I feel like I'm waiting for Diablo 3 or Final Fantasy 7 remake. Is it really going to be awesome?

Between Apple and Microsoft doing their own shit which is a hundred times better, I really dont think Adobe is ever going to come out with something new thats also superior. And unlike Microsoft, they are in no position at this point to force their inferior crap on anyone.

i'm normally anti-adobe products... but I've been using Adobe LiveCycle Designer to design interactive forms in SAP for over a year now and it's AMAZINGLY better than any form product SAP ever provided.

My development time was cut by 75%.. now there's word that SAP is looking to another product in the near future b/c of Adobe's crazy ass licensing fees.

I dont see why all of you hate on Flash...am I missing something? Ive been using Flash since the days of XP on through Vista to now Windows 7 and Ive NEVER had an issue with Flash...whats the big deal all you haters? Im seriously curious...did Flash touch you when you were younger? Did it rape your mom? Rob your house?

I like flash. While I agree for things like full screen video, its very bleh, for many other things its incredibly convenient.
