Its just a Q6600 right? Only it has a x8 multiplier instead of an X9. So it would be a Q6500, if such a beast existed.

Yea it is very close to that except that it is branded as an Intel® Xeon® and it is a UP (Uniprocessor). Today we call them our Intel Xeon E3-1200's but they fill the same space.
