Is a wireless bridge what I want?

Our wireless router is in one of the rooms, and the signal is really weak on the other side of the house. Would adding a bridge in the middle of the room "bridge" those two together then? I'm not entirely sure what I need.

no way you can run a hardline to other side of house? 1mm flatwire? that was the only reliable solution i found.

wds bridging
mesh networking
client bridge (i'd probably do this if its one pc on the other side of house)
hardware ethernet to another router running as an access point (best imo).
