Hello all, I am considering purchasing a Max Cool Server Case as a replacement for the case I have my AMD system in right now and was wondering if it is worth getting an upgrade of the 120mm fans that already come with the case. The case currently comes with four low speed 120mm fans that have an output of 69CFM and was wondering if there would be any difference if I were to upgrade to the 120mm X 38mm fans that output 108CFM other than getting more dust into my system. If there is any difference would it be great difference in temperature or little difference. The upgrade cost $1 per fan I want to upgrade and was wondering if it is worth the extra four dollars. Thanks for your input.

$1 for almost twice the amount of CMF? Yeah, I would have to go with yes on this one:)

Depends on how much noise you are willing to endure and how much hot running stuff you have in the case. For the vast majority of situations, the lower cfm fans will be more than adequate.

If using a black label delta on the psu, case fan noise becomes largely immaterial- they'll be drowned out by the whine from that little monster.

Edit- not psu, heatsink! That's what happens when I get in a hurry...

Absolutely agree with Jhhnn. You have to balance noise with CFM. If you feel like you're getting enough cooling, the extra noise may not be worth it. Although, I guess you could get the bigger ones and if it is too loud, just take some out.
