Okay, I have known many people to describe a tequila buzz as being a clear buzz, and I have heard gin described as a fuzzy buzz, and beer too.
It has been years since I've had tequila, as there was a point even just thinking about how tequila burps tasted/smelled would nauseate me... had the same problem with jack .. heh.
Anyway, to my hazy recollection, tequila really did provide a better buzz - one where thinking and vision was clearer than with beer or e.g. vodka.
Is there any definitive answer as to the relative properties of tequila vs. other liquors? If there really is, how is this even possible? Since it is the alcohol that is getting you drunk, one would think that 80 proof tequila would be no different than 80 proof vodka ...
Just musing whether or not it's time to see if I can stomach it again yet
