I don't know why I'm having such a problem with this. I thought they were green my whole life, now someone tells me a tennis ball is yellow and looking at one in person I can't say they are wrong.

Is reality even real anymore?

It's clearly greenish yellow. You could call it either and be correct, and the particular word on the color swatch is irrelevant. Proof...

RGB, the green is cranked all the way up. CMYK, the yellow is cranked up, with a bit of blue to make green.

I know that technically they're yellow(ish) but I think it's all in how your eyes perceive the color. They LOOK more lime green than yellow.

If you can't have beer? Is life even worth living?
I haven't had a beer in ~2 months and my life has definitely been worth living. Oh, I could, it's in my fridge, but I didn't...

Have they. Hanged color over time? I’m pretty sure that they were yellow when I was a kid (mum played tennis).

Yes. ;) *(tennis balls can be purchased in MANY different colors)

As for what color the ball in the necro-OP's video is, that has more to do with the quality and calibration of your monitor then anything else!

Not sure I'm qualified to answer this one....

The real question is my yellow the same as your yellow?

According to the ITF's official rules page, "the ball shall have a uniform outer surface and shall be white or yellow in color." Even a check of a typical ball's pantone color code seems to imply that tennis balls are yellow

Seeing them in real life, back when my mom used to play, i would have said green if held to a simple color. They're definitely a green/yellow mix but couldn't have told you the specific color. Probably would have said lime green.

WTF's the difference? For color blind me every single one looks yellow. I remember when tennis balls were ALL white! Until they had been hit a few thousand times, then they were gray.
