Dumb ass questions are getting tiresome. You should try good questions. When you get an "interview" for a mail carrier(you won't), you can ask then. In the meantime, find something actionable, learn how to do it, and if you run into problems, ask questions about that. Six year old fantasy land stuff is fantasy.

The general rule of interviewing is ask them before you show up.
If you dont have an interview yet, go to your nearest post office and as somebody there. I am guessing they will probably tell you "no I showed up in jeans and they hired me".
Its not a dumb question. If you honestly dont know you should feel comfortable asking.
Obviously asking HERE is not a great idea.

As a mailman, your work attire typically consists of a uniform provided by your employer, which may include a shirt, pants, and a hat with the postal service logo. However, if you are going for an interview for a mailman position, it's important to dress professionally to make a good impression. While a suit may not be necessary for an interview for a mailman position, it's generally recommended to dress neatly and appropriately.
Here are some general guidelines for dressing for a mailman interview:
  1. Business casual: You can opt for business casual attire, which typically includes slacks or khakis, a button-up shirt, and closed-toe shoes. Avoid clothing that is too casual, such as jeans, shorts, or sneakers.
  2. Clean and well-groomed: Make sure your clothes are clean, ironed, and in good condition. Avoid clothing with stains, tears, or wrinkles. Also, pay attention to personal grooming, such as clean hair, trimmed facial hair (if applicable), and polished shoes.
  3. Conservative colors: Choose conservative colors for your clothing, such as black, navy blue, gray, or white. Avoid flashy or overly bright colors that may be distracting.
  4. Minimal accessories: Keep your accessories minimal and professional. For example, a simple belt, a wristwatch, and minimal jewelry can be appropriate. Avoid excessive or flashy accessories that may detract from your professionalism.
  5. Research the company: Consider the culture and dress code of the company or organization where you are applying for the mailman position. If you are aware that the workplace has a more formal dress code, then wearing a suit may be more appropriate. However, if the company has a more casual dress code, you may choose to dress accordingly, but still maintaining a professional appearance.
It's always a good idea to research the company's dress code and dress slightly more formal than their dress code, to demonstrate your professionalism and respect for the interview process. Remember, dressing professionally for an interview can help you make a positive impression and show that you take the opportunity seriously.

Optionally, you can also kidnap your mailman to steal their uniform and show up in that. It will show that you are ready to start the same day as the interview and that you are a dedicated worker.

A tuxedo is really the way to impress the interview team. Anyone can wear a suit...only a real man wears a tux to show hiw important the job is.
