is a statistics/math minor gonna help me?

my major is civil engineering and im planning to go into transportation engineering eventually. I'm taking so many math classes already i think i can just do a math/statistics minor. Since TE has a lot to do with modelling traffic i suspect statistics would be really useful. what do you think? I'm still debating if i should continue with my german program.

*shrug* I have a math minor, considered a stats minor (with the stats minor at the Univ. of Washington, you're just as well off just getting the degree, it's only an extra two classes, I think); I don't plan to use either extensively, I just want to have a good background in both areas in my future studies in law and finance.
