Is a SanDiego (4000+) just a slower clocked FX-57?

LOL hey thanks guys.
I think I'm going to go for that eVGA offer. Buy a 7800GT or GTX and get the free 939 NF4 SLI board. This is why I was asking about SanDiego. Going for the 3700+.
No plans for X2 anytime soon. Mebbe when games come out that support multithreading.
I don't O/C so I wont go for the cheaper overclockable 3000+/3200+.

Thanks again.

if you don't plan on overclocking, i think the 3800 is a bit faster, its probably cheaper due to less demand

That EVGA deal sounds sweet! Anybody got a link? And I love my SD3700+ and would pick it over a 3800+ even though it is slighly slower because its 90nm(cooler) uses less energy, and has a better memory controller.

The 3800+ is a Venice and is also 90nm. The extra cache is basically the only difference other than clock speed.
