Is a Rotozip good enough for making case mods??

Hey,

I just tried modding my generic full tower case using a hole saw and a Black and Decker drill. Let me tell you, it took me 2+ hrs to drill one freaking hole for a 80mm case fan!! :(

I know the problem lies w/ the drill itself. Its just doesn't cut it. I can't even drill the screw holes to mount the case fans. It won't even go through!!

Therefore, I'm looking to buy a better tool I can use to mod this case. Would the Rotozip "Solaris" be enough? It is capable of doing the job of modding it? Can I use the Rotozip to cut holes for larger size fans like the 90mm or 120 mm ? w/o buying more holesaws (they are expensive)??

Any recommendations on tools or methods of modding any case? I'm a newbie at this and would like some guidance and information.

Thanks again
Johnny

i did my mods with only a power drill to cut pilot holes and used metal snips to cut out the holes...i cut the vent hols off the case where the stock fans go, cut a 80cm and a 120cm hole in the side, 2 80cm on top, and an extra 80cm in the back giving me 7 external fans...

it was easy my way and surely would be easyer for you to do with any type of rotary drill...just make sure you buy reinforced cutoff wheels, i used non-reinforced wheels to cut out a biohazzard symbol in the side and went through at least 2 dozen of them!
