I am going to be building a new computer for the first time in awhile and been going through some old stuff. I have an old RETAIL Windows XP Pro packet. Is this useful? Any strange upgrade paths to Windows 10?
Can't get 64-bit that way, without a clean re-install of 10, I think.xp -> 7 -> 10
Your first problem is that there is no way that you will be able to install XP on modern hardware and even if you do manage that somehow you can't register XP anymore.I have access to a windows 10 install, but i would need legit keys to make it work. So, I'd need a good way to get to a windows 7 key i could use with windows 10. I don't know if there's even downloads available to do any kind of tiered installs.
