Is a peice of peanut a whole peanut or half?

I opened a can of Planter's cocktail peanuts and I was reading the back of the can. I noticed a serving size is 35 peices. But some of the peanuts are whole and some are in halfs. What is a "peice"?

Notice that he opened the can and then checked the nutritional info. This is an attempt to exude a nonchalant air, a devil-may-care, if you will, attitude in regard to his personal health. But I postulate that he picked up the can at the store, checked the nutritional info, calculated the number of calories based on the serving size, calculated the grams of fat, and then lined that up with his carefully layed out diet plan.

You're such a fvcking poser JToxic, I can smell that pooze gushing out of your every pore.

Edit: Oh, by the way, I don't know the answer to your question. But if you really want to find out what the proper serving size is, take the approximate servings per container and divide the number of grams listed on the front of the package by that number.

I before E except after C... except on a billion exceptions. I gave up on that rule.

Next to the 31 pieces, it should say a gram ammount.

That's your answer. It doesen't matter if they're whole of half, just go buy grams.

calculated the number of calories based on the serving size, calculated the grams of fat, and then lined that up with his carefully layed out diet plan.

He's eating peanuts, not bacon. Go study up on fat and learn which ones are bad for you before you demonize fat in general.

While peanuts have calories, it's released slowly so it keeps you full longer. They can actually help you lose body fat.
