No mainboard till now:

What i can get

Hi,

thanks for the reply but i live in Belgium and the only one I found is the p35DS4 and it doens't support DDR3.

So it's either that one or a p965 series,
Bram

I figured you were going to say you didn't live in the USA, hehe. :)

What about the GA-P35-DS3R or GA-P35-DS3?

Also I wouldn't jump on the DDR3 ship so fast, DDR2 is good enough for a long time to come. I'd just get one of the boards I just mentioned unless you want dual PCI-E.

Dear Das Fox,

I don't need the pci two (damned, already an antique pc and it isn't assembled yet :))
Do I understand you correctly that you would go for the p35DS4 in stead of the p965DS3REV3.3 since the two boards you are mentioning aren't available neither :(

No I'm saying if you don't need DUAL PCI-E slots, and DDR3, then I'd grab either a GA-P35-DS3R or GA-P35-DS3.

DDR3 is to immature right now, save your money, DDR2 should be good for at least another 8mos to a year.
