is a cooler necessary for my set up?

Hey there, I'm planning to build a rig. My set up is as follows

AMD Phenom II x3 720
Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P
Kingston 2GB DDR3 1333
Sapphire Radeon HD 5770
OCZ 600W StealthXStream PSU
Seagate 500gb SATA
Some casing I'm not so sure yet, but nothing to expensive(mid tower size)
and a comdo cd/dvd drive

My question is, if I won't be overclocking my system at all, but I'll be using it for gaming, will I need to buy some cooling fans for my components? Or will the stock coolers do?

Thanks!

Stock will do of course. Without overclocking, it will be a question of how much noise you can take (I'm not familiar with the stock HSF on that phenom processor). It may very well be not noisy at all... likewise for the fans coming with your case (if any).

However, you should aim for a much smaller PSU. Think along the lines of 400W +- a little bit.

I think for amd systems stock cooling is ok, although recently I've seen some bundled amd coolers really really small. if you have concerns and is looking for a decent cooler, look into hyper 212 plus, $30 shipped at newegg. very good performance for the price and in case you like to try your hand on overclocking later there's room there for that.
