Hey, I was just wondering if a 7800GT CO SE for 170$ is a good price. The seller is giving me all of the accessories as well as the invoice for it. Let me know. Thanks.

XFX is the only company I know of that offers the double lifetime warranty. Since the card is registered with EVGA, I don't think they'd cover you, but their CS is top notch so call and ask?

its a pretty damn good price considering it will outperform anything in that price range. You might wanna spend another 30 or so and grab a x1800xt 256mb tho. Its gonna end up being a good deal faster. If you dont have the money to spare then by all means get the 7800gt and you wont be unhappy with it. My old eVGA 7800gt CO OCed to 550/1300 on an NV Silencer so u might have a good card on ur hands.

Though I will admit for around $30 more an X1800XT will be a good deal faster.

EDIT: I see morgash already mentionted that. I concur morgash :)

Great card by a great company. Go for it.
If interested you may even use the invoice for the step-up if it is still within 90 days period.

that would cost him more money, to step up to any 7900gt listed on eVGA's retail price. IT would be cheaper to get a 7900gt for $230 to begin with, or an x1800xt.

However, the card has been alread registered. Will I still be able to get warrenty and participate in the step-up program with the invoice (will a bill of sale on a video card work?!?! :D ).

Also, where can I get the 1800XT for 200$?!?

Also forgot to mention, I paid 60$ for the X800 from Dell. Is it worthwhile paying the extra 110$ and returning the card (X800)?

$170 is a great price man. Although with no warranty.....The seller should be able to unregister the card. I actually just bought one of these off the forum for $190 a week ago so...... They are great cards. I just sold mine on ebay and upgraded to a 7900gt.

That's a good price, those cards currently go for about $200-220 on ebay.

Very good price, I'd definately recommend picking it up. The 7600 GT runs around that price and the 7800GT is much better.

Very nice price, if the seller has good references, by all means go for it if thats your price point. You may also be able to pull a 7900GT for 220 or so if your willing to pay the extra money, it will pay off.
