Is a 6600gt a 6600gt?

Hi, I am wondering if the brand of video card makes any real difference in graphics quality. I just ordered a Jaton 6600gt pci express because it was cheapest and I saw it had the same specs as the "good" brands. On nvidia.com it says that Jaton is a graphics partner and that there is strict quality control for all partner products. I bought the retail version, so I should have a warranty. I am just wondering because I saw someone put down Jaton elsewhere and wasn't sure if I did something wrong by getting one. Any thoughts appreciated. Is the difference just the "goodies" that come with the card?

Oh, I almost forgot. Are most 6600gt's really loud like some have said? I'm trying to build a quiet pc, but I guess I can take some noise.

Jaton has a history of making low quality cards that cut alot of corners for a price point.
You should be worried not about the chips Nvidia provides but the other items as well such as capacitors and memory (speeds and whatnot) using cheap components can lower the speed it runs at or adversely affect the life of the card.
I would also be worried about making a warranty claim if needed.
You have a good chance there will be nothing wrong with your card and it will work fine for years, but there is a reason other companies cost more. You get better quality stuff if you are willing to spend a bit more.
