Is a 550 fill power a good down comforter?

This 'fill power' seems pretty arbitrary. Is 550 an acceptable amount for a down comforter for ~$100?

My sleeping bag is 770 fill down; that's all I really know about down, though. Dunno how that translates since you are indoors, not outdoors.

Down comforter is much more comfortable than an electirc blanket imo.

To answer Elemental007, i'm not too sure if that's good or not. I generally go by the weight of it myself.
