I did date a girl that was 5'5", weighed 152 pounds, and had a tiny waistline.

Of course she had G size boobs. Maybe a bit bigger. All natural and HUGEEEEEE!!!! Then again, that's the exception :)

Pantz is not a normal human. 5K calories on workout days.
Hmm, I am fat, and I usually eat between 3500-4500 calories per day with minimal working out, and my weight has been stable for the last 6 or 7 years. If pant is 40 pounds lighter than me, and similar height, (which he said 6 1, and 260 pounds), then I could easily see him devouring 5K calories and not getting rounder.

For reference, when Gina Carano was on American Gladiators she was listed at about 150lbs, and she's 5'8" and an athlete.

A regular 5'5" woman weing 165lbs who doesn't work out will be VERY chunky to say the least.

Hey guys, just curious if a 5 foot 5 girl that weighs 165 pounds is fat? Are there any pics of similar girls online to view?

At that height her second chin would start to show up at around 130 lbs. That's definitely fat.

Girl at 5,5 165 is almost always overweight. Not "fit", not "athletic", but overweight. That's medically overweight and for every 5,5 165 who isn't a fatty you'll have a thousand who are.

According to US Army women's weight standard, its fat. Even for a 40yr old female, thats still 10lbs over the max allowable weight.

http://www.apft-standards.com/femaleheightandweight.html

Same for Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service
http://ccrf.hhs.gov/ccrf/HTWT.htm#FEMALES

And by BMI, its 27.5 for a 5'5" female @ 165lbs.
http://www.bmicalculator.org

Your BMI is: 27.5 (How is this calculated?)
You are in the OVERWEIGHT weight range.
Your BMI only tells part of the story. Click here to get your free fitness report card.
Goal Setting Recommendation: To move to the next weight range you need to weigh 149.6 pounds to be in the NORMAL weight range.

Don't sugar coat it, that weight/height/gender is clearly overweight and that person needs to exercise more and eat less/better.

Freaking Gina. I wish she got back into MMA... she was a good fighter. And she was in good shape. These days... :|

I like some of the comments on the forums when there is a thread about "Is Gina coming back?" and comments like "I don't think they have a MW divison..."

Dude, I'm almost 250 lbs at 6'1". I acknowledge I need to lose weight, but the only way I could lose 80 pounds would be to have absolutely no muscle on my frame. 169 at 6'1" is like hipster level skinny.

170 at 6'1 isn't skinny at all....

I'm 5'11 and like 160 and I am not remotely skinny. I am probably much more athletic than most people but I'd probably have to lose 15 pounds to fit in "skinny " jeans

No you wouldn't - they're supposed to cut off circulation like that. It's the point.

It is depending on the person's frame.

I tend to think 6'1 170 is probably about normal if you are say 15-20% body fat.

Our standards of what skinny are have probably just fallen. People do call me skinny but I'm probably just normal for someone in the 1960s

People tell me I'm "skinny" and I'm 6'0'' and 190lb I wear size 33in waist jeans :(

I HATE being called "Skinny" or when people look at you like you are wasting from cancer

I weighed 165lb for a very brief moment of my life and I constantly got the "are you OK?" look. But even then I think I still wore 32in waist jeans and had enough body fat I couldn't have a six-pack. So even with a 25lb difference, I don't look much different other then my face is slightly filled out more and I have a bigger ass

Not everyone is a string bean. I'm 6' and approaching 260 and I don't have a beer gut, or any gut really.

How could you possibly not have any gut at all at that weight? At least roid style gut....or gigantic man boobs ;) Do you have tree trunk legs?

Yeah, I find that interesting as well.

I'm 6'2 and weigh 215, and I have a small gut myself. Best weight for me was exactly 200. Granted, maybe he's a bodybuilder, who knows.

Most I've weighed is 185 and people called me skinny then too but I think they were just well fatter

I play basketball for fun and do a lot of core work to keep my back together. Have to at 31. That said at 185 my knees were killing me so I decided to cut a lot of carbs and lost 25 pounds. I'm obviously skinner and have mlre definition but I still have enough fat that I'm not like ribs showing or anything.

Probably just a matter of standards. I hate being called skinny too but I'd rather be called it then actually be bigger. Like something is wrong because the average is pretty unhealthy looking now but its the new normal
