How would a 32'' LCD TV with resolution 1080p would serve as a monitor?

How would it compare to a 26'' LCD TV with 720p both serving as monitors.

Only you can answer that. My 37" westy works great as a computer monitor, but i need to sit at least 4ft away while gaming otherwise i get dizzy from looking back and forth

I use a 28" LCD (Hanns-G) at work and love it. I would definately not go to 720p with a 26" screen, if you plan on using the monitor for "work". A better option would be a 24" monitor like the one in my sig. if you go smaller. The monitor I use at work is this one.

Personally, I think a 32" 1080P monitor would be great, but I have bad eyes (which is why I use a 28" LCD at work). The monitor in my sig can be had for $299 and is a great deal for a 24" screen.
