Is a 300W PSU enough for my new system???

Hey guys, I have a Generic 300W PSU here that I am in the middle of doing some nice mods too. I can't remember the name of it but am sure it is 300W. Anyway, I am worried about my system doing to lockup reboot thing as seen on many Athlon cpus with 250W PSU's. The components are as follows:

-- P4 1.6(not A) or 1.8 CPU
-- Asus P4B266-C
-- Geforce 2 GTS
-- SB Live
-- Netgear NIC
-- 256 MB PC2100
-- 16X Burner
-- 30 GB IBM 75GXP
-- Mitsumi Floppy

Please LMK what you think guys. 🙂

Just try it and see. My Athlon XP 1700 is running fine on a Future Power 250W PS with 2 HD's, CD-ROM, and 4 slots filled on the mb as I wait for an RMA'd 350W PS to be returned. The exact same system would not boot up with my Antec 300W PS, but the Antec works fine for my TBird 750 system.

I had the following system running on a 250 watt generic power supply, no problems:

1.4 gig Athlon 266fsb
I-Will KK266a
CD-Rom
CD-RW
floppy
Radeon LE
SB Live
2 80MM sunon fans
Network card
Slot Fan
2 Harddrives, each with a fan

I was using that powersupply, because the 300 I had just received did not work when I would add the second HD.

300W and generic to boot. Kenny, kenny, kenny.....what are we going to d...😉

You could buy my dually 500W redundant setup...would power your system just fine😛
