Going through the attic at the new-to-me house. Found a letter from 1931 with a 3 cent stamp affixed.

I also have brass tacks, an 80+ year old can of food with no bulges (afaik, that means its still edible (not that I'd try it)) and a withdraw slip for some four digit quantity in british pounds thats from some financial institution that said "from here to Kalamazu" or something like that.

I have artifacts from the 30's and 60's. Pretty interesting if you ask me.

How many pounds from how long ago? 4 digits would have been a hell of a lot of money in the 30s, maybe someone's entire net worth. Maybe they moved from England and took everything with them in cash?

I have a couple magazines from 1915. You should see the ads for Colgate and Campbell soup. So retro.

Put the can food on eBay for starter and see how much you can fetch.

That had occured to me. It's a back carbon, and very hard to read. It's still in the attic. I'll make sure to bring it down the next time I come down (a few hours or so)

You can assume that it's worth at least 3 cents.

Your best bet is to go to the library, get the assistance of the librarian with a stamp collectors price reference book. Note that several differant stamps may appear to be the same but one tiny virtually invisible differance can make or break the value of a stamp.
