is 845g really faster then 845e???

I just read tom's review on the 845g and 845e and it's obvious that 845g is faster than 845e when the memory bus on the 845g is run at 166mhz. However, when both chipset are run at 133mhz memory, the 845e is faster than the 845g. This leads me to conclude that the 845e will pull ahead or at least match the peformance of the 845g if also run at 166mhz bus. Although the 845e does not officially support 166mhz memory bus, I believe it is possible to clock the memory up to that speed or maybe even higher- correct?
