Is 768MB RAM good?

Is 768MB RAM good for a 15" Apple Powerbook (1.33ghz). Mainly I'll be using the computer for email, web browsing, ms office, and photo editing.

It should be fine. I use my computer for the things you mentioned, and 256 MB is plenty for me.

256MB is tolerable, but once you add that 512MB stick you think "I should of done this sooner!".

Yes.

That's what i have now in my 12" Powerbook.

Mac or PC though.

256mb on OSX.3 isn't the best thing in the world. It is adaquate for most apps that were mentioned, but for multitasking it sucks. I'm currently running 512 in my 15" PB and i want to get another 1gb stick to replace one of my 256mb sticks. Currently i'm using 343mb of the 512mb of ram with only 169mb free... I'm only running camino, aim, finder, stickies, and entourage....
