Is $749 a good price for...

A 1.33GHz Thunderbird, Asus A7M266 and 256MB Corsair PC2100? It's going to be from a local shop. I could find it a bit cheaper online, but the local place pre-tests it and sets up the jumpers/BIOS. I've bought from them in the past and they have excellent customer service. I'm getting all of the other components online, but wanted someone that I could trust nearby if I have problems with the motherboard/CPU.

Jumpem, A place near me is on Pricewatch and they have the same combo for $744. So, your price is great, especially to be getting it from a local shop!
