Is 700E cb0 still the best Intel PIII CPU for overclocking??

its probably the best one to hit 1 ghz, but that is rare still. but unlocked 750 tbirds hit past 900+ without too much problems

I gave up on the 700. I ordered one that turned out not to be a cbo. I returned it to Onvia (stil waiting for credit) and got a retail cBo from CPUSFORLESS. It was a dud and would not even go as high as 866. I even had the volts up to 2.00 to try to get it to do something. I sold that chip and put my 550e back in and said nuts with it. I'll wait a bit longer before I upgrade again. This 550 is fast enough at 770 for now.
