Is 64bit XP better than vista?

Better is a subjective term.

And no, it doesn't support DX10 and it never will, from what I understand.

Intended to be subjective to leave it open to response.
-dx10 support stinks.

Well my Nvidia video card works better in XP x64 than Vista x64. 🙂

Vista will come good in the end, but I'm still waiting for it to happen.

How do you define better?..Personally I have no problems with Nvidia drivers or gaming in Vista x64,I think you can say Vista x64 is better for security, better at memory handling, longer life span ,driver wise I know some companies that have dropped support for XP 64 bit drivers in favor of Vista x64,so you can see the obvious answer.

XP64 is a dead product, it was more of a proof-of-concept than anything else. And supposedly DX10 is tied to the new driver model in Vista so it'll only ever be in Vista+.
