Just wondering. I'm using a GC68 hs with the stock fan with AS3 on a non overclocked Tbird 200FSB. Just wondering if 56º C idle is running too hot?

TIA,

Thanks guys. All my other chips seem to be running in the 30's or 40's, so I thought that this was a bit high.

Does anyone have a list of what the temp ranges should be for a particular chip? What would be too high for a chip like this Tbird?

Thanks again.

60-65 idle is the highest I would personally run and not be too worried.

90C is the highest AMD recommends which is higher than the 85C which AMD specs for the Bartons and Thoroughbreds.

Different motherboards do report different temperatures +/-10C, so it's really hard to say.
