Is 4Ghz easy for the i7-4930k?

I right now have an i7-3930k running at 4GHz at 1.2v. I don't normally overclock but I feel confident in 4GHz at 1.2v with my 3930k. If I can sell my 3930k for $450, I will replace it with a 4930k. What are the chances of getting 4GHz on all 6 cores with the 4930k? Also does the 4930k have generally have less overclocking headroom than the 3930k?

It will do 4Ghz for free,,, no need to touch voltage. Wanna go higher then you start bumpin up the vcore. gl

All the reviewers I have seen so far have been able to reach at least 4.3Ghz. Its relatively likely you'll be able to reach 4Ghz, it is after all only an additional 100Mhz on top of the current peak turbo that any core will go to. I would be pretty confident in saying it should reach that.

Shouldn't you be able to OC to 4.6Ghz ??? 4.3 as max is not correct,, maybe the mobo is drunk or something.

I like your rig brigtcandle
