Is 4GB (P55 build) enough for gaming?

I don't go over ~1.5GB with light multitasking, so the only demanding thing would be gaming.

Vista 64 now, will be Windows 7 64 in a month.

I haven't played any games since Fallout 3, as nothing recent has interested me. Here are the upcoming games I want to try:

Risen
Borderlands
Alpha Protocol
Dragon Age: Origins
Two Worlds 2
Jumpgate Evolution
Arcania: A Gothic Tale

You should be fine with 4 gigs. Just make sure you get it as 2X2 so you can always add more in the future if need be.

4 gigs is fine.....32 vs 64 OS doesn't really matter for playing one game, since just about all games are 32 bit anyway.

So unless you want to run multiple games at once, or run a couple of VM's or similar while gaming, you'll be fine. Now, if you want to try that, then you would need a 64-bit OS and probably more RAM.

Depends on whether you're one of those guys that have to have ten firefoxes open and running xp in the background and playing crysis and occasionally neverwinter nights 2 while crysis is loading a map. Or if you like to shut everything else off to max your framerates.
