I loved my WiMax...when I was outdoors.
I also loved T-Mobile's pseudo 4G...when I was outdoors.

I heart LTE. Wish I had an LTE phone.

Verizon LTE is ridiculously fast. Being able to instantly watch high quality Youtube streams with no loading time is very nice. Couldn't do that on 3G.

Going to make the jump to 4G soon and it's good to hear Verizon is the fastest since they're my carrier.

I gotta tell you 3G here in Columbus, OH for me has been in a constant decline since i got my Droid 2 years ago.

The last speedtest I ran this morning was, I kid you not, 84kbps down, 4kbps up. Yes that's bits!

I don't know if the phone/ROM has anything to do with it since I use Cyanogen. I'll check the wife's when I get home since she runs stock. Can't wait to switch.

I average 4.5-5.7 mbps on tmo 3g. I guess its fast in NYC. Slowest I ever got was .5 and that was at work in a prewar building on wall street where att and vzw have no signal at all in my office.

Just keep in mind, guys, you're going to pay for the LTE speed on Verizon. Starts at 30 dollars for a paltry 2GB. 2GB goes by fast if you actually use LTE. Not sure if you want to put much stock in this, but there's been a number of reports from Verizon customers that have been told by CSRs that they will phase out their unlimited plans entirely, including the grandfathered customers.

I've been getting around 25 down and 8-10 up on Verizon LTE since I got my bionic. I'm getting anywhere from 512-900 down and 250ish up on 3G.

AT&T 3G when I had my iP4 was around 3-4 down and 750 up.

This is in Oklahoma City so likely not a hugely saturated LTE market yet. But nice nonetheless.

Both HSPA+ and LTE offer pretty fast theoretical speeds, but it all depends on implementation.

I get around 5 mbps on Telus 3G in Canada

No 4G available where I am :)

I am getting 4-5Mbps as well on Fido HSPA+. 3G is more than enough for what I do with it on the phone. Streaming movies on a smartphone is not something that I do. I do have a tablet, but mainly use it at home, sometimes I would have it tethered to my 3G smartphone while out and about, but just light web browsing.

4G/LTE I'd imagine would cost a pretty coin for less data. I am happy with my $30/6GB plan.
