Is $4500 a fair price for a 2013 Honda CBR500R?

Seems a little high but those bikes are always in demand so it might not be too far out there. Start low and see if he counters.

If you are ever in the market for an aftermarket exhaust, i want to trade my Leo Vince Corsa GP full stainless system for a stock one + cash on my CB500F.

And on the street it's the only bike he'll ever really need.
I started on a Kawasaki EX500 (glad to see Honda picking up the 500 vertical twin) and I've owned a number of other bikes from Harleys to BMW to a Honda RC51. And looking back, getting a new bike is always exciting, but for the actual riding experience the EX500 was the most fun. All I should have done is traded up to the Ninja 500 to get the the 17" rubber, or done a fork swap, and banked the cash.

Why not? I bet he could ride this bike for a year, put 5000 miles on it and sell it for almost, if not exactly what he paid for it if he takes care of it.

This is my 4th bike, I don't really care what chest thumping macho noobs say anymore. Shoulda get zx10r blah blah blah with that $4k

Wow, didn't know bikes were so cheap. I used to own a CBR600RR and it was much more expensive than that (nearly 10 years ago.)

It's a 500
I'd rather pay $3800 for a 750cc Katana or something..
even the newer 600cc inline 4rs are better.
That is not a 4-cyl bike,amirite?
yeah..I don't care about the price so much..i want something that going to move when that throttle gets twisted.

It's a vertical twin. Just speaking for myself, I'm not a fan if I-4s on the street, because by the time you feel anything, you're well past any speed limit. Too smooth.

How does it compare to your other bikes? I've found the top end to be pretty light making it easy to flick around. My brother noticed the same thing. At least compared to my GS500. Ran my first tank through it last week. 63.4mpg can't complain about that

Agreed. I made money on my gs500f, made it almost a even trade for a sv650n. Now debating what to get after the sv.

I often look at 250s to buy, throw around town and sell for profit.

Haven't had a chance to Ride it yet o_O. Just got the insurance, title and registration done today. Anywho, I used to ride a Super Sport and it's just wicked fast....too fast for the street. That and the seating position & poor gas mileage doesn't do it for me anymore.

This on the other hand: High torque, 65MPG average (on Fuelly.com), excellent seating position, and sporty looking. WIN WIN WIN on all aspect.
