Is 430 Watts Enough for a Dual Proc System?

if you can hear your fans slow down under heavy load - you need a better PSU.

ill take a guess (since i know nothing about AMDs) and say you need a better PSU.

It probably is cause I'm running two overclocked Durons on a Tiger MPX with an Enermax 330W supply. This is in a large case chocked with fans and several scsi drives. Runs smooth and hasn't crashed once since I set it up about a month ago.

I think that for the average user that the 430 watt PS will be enough. But then again make sure that it is a good quality Power Supply not one of the generic power supplys

thx doods,

i'm using an Enermax 430 with the variable fan. i recommend it to everybody! its pricey, but something like a good PSU stays with you for a while kinda like a good monitor. anyways, i might go with a higher power anyways, cause i've got alot of stuff runnin' inside as you can see from my rig profile.
