Even though your asking about power supply for a gaming/workstation kind of rig some of this stuff doesn't seem to make sense.
Like the 8500GT, an ATI 3650 is going to perform better than an 8500GT for about the same price after mail in rebate. Another choice is the 8600GT which performs slightly better than the 3650 and almost double that of 8500GT for the same price after mail in rebate.

The other thing being only 1GB of memory, that just doesn't make sense at all if you plan on using maya and other stuff. Memory is also incredibly cheap now that you can get 2GB for not much more. Like this for example, $35 after mail in rebate.

Now back to your power supply question, sames it's obvious this is going into a smaller case (eg. that micro atx motherboard you picked) 350W should be plenty if it is a quality vendor but does it have to be a specific form factor for the case to make use of it (eg. sfx or microatx) or can it use a full atx psu? If you can use an ATX psu i'd go with this.

nice observation man, and thnx for the suggestions. i'm about to start studying maya at its basic level when i got the PC then maybe when i get into professional level then i might upgrade my pc.
for games i'm just a casual gamer. kanes wrath is fine with me and also prostreet.

the power supply comes with the generic atx casing. i hope gave the last very important detail about my question to help you answer it.

thnks

Then I would suggest the Earthwatts PSU I linked to. Of course if you happen to find 80mm fans noisy for you tastes I'll suggest this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817256032

It costs about the same up front but theirs no mail in rebate.
