https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Bernard_(dog)

US and UK breed clubs put the average lifespan for a St. Bernard at 8–10 years.[16][17][18] A 2003 Danish breed survey (35 dogs) puts the median lifespan at 9.5 years while a UK breed survey in 2004 (53 dogs) puts the median lifespan at 7 years. In the UK survey about one in five lived to >10 years with the longest lived dog at 12 years and 9 months.

So no, over 33 years old is very unlikely. That and the dog in Cujo looks pretty visibly different from the dog in Beethovan. I guess the "actor" in both cases had the same name, but they were wrongfully merged into the same bio sheet on imdb when they should have been separated.

God damn!
7 years is nothin!

I think I'll get a cat instead.

15-20 years for an indoor cat is not uncommon. 7 years for a dog is really short. Almost like you are looking at a ticking time bomb just waiting for your buddy to kick the bucket.

As opposed to praying for 15-20 years that the damned cat will just finally die already.

Take a (teckel) Dachshund. Can get 17 years old. My neighbour has a cute one. Very old. Moves like it has a steamengine driving it when walks towards people. Has a happy face when it recognizes me. I think he is 14 years now.lovable dog for sure.

According to Wiki, the average age of a Saint Bernard is 66.6667 with a sample size of six. Blessed Bernardo Tolomei really pulled the average up.

My dog was labeled a "labrador retriever mix" by the Humane Society, was probably his healthiest weight around 110lbs, lived 11 years.
