15-20 years for an indoor cat is not uncommon. 7 years for a dog is really short. Almost like you are looking at a ticking time bomb just waiting for your buddy to kick the bucket.

Generally, the larger the dog, the shorter the lifespan.
Which is a shame, as those little lapdogs all need to die (yes, including pugs)
Especially pugs, fuck them.
Seems about right. My German Shepherd-Husky clocked out at 15.5 years.
