Is 32-bit color possible in Midtown Madness 2?

I'm sure this has been asked before somewhere, but I didn't see anything when I searched. Was wondering if there was any way to change from 16-bit to 32-bit - at lower resolutions, the graininess of 16 is kind of annoying but easier on fps.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks....

I don't think 16 bit color would make it grainy. It's probably just the lower resolution.

I tried googling about it and it seems like 16bit is the only option.

Set your desktop to 32 bit colour and the game should automatically run under 32 bit mode (assuming it doesn't specifically request 16 bits).
