is 300W enough?

I'm building a new computer and I'm now selecting a case and PSU. Given a standard setup (and only add-in card will be a videocard), is a 300W power supply enough. The price difference between that and 350 is only $20, but if I don't need the extra juice, there's no point in getting it. Advice anyone?

It's quality, not quantity. A quality 300W will power any standard single CPU system without issues.

athlon 1.4 266fsb
gf2 pro 32 mb
512 crucial
yamaha 16x10x40
32x cd rom
nic
sound
and good old floppy


no problems here
