Is 300W enough for 2 CD, 1 zip and a harddrive?

Buying a new case and powersupply and wondering how much power I would need with my two disk drives, zip, and harddrive?

It all depends on what mainboard & cpu and how many pci devices you will be using.

I concur, it'll also depend on what the combined 5+&3.3+ output for the PSU is as well.

Yup. Just look at my rigs. Both got 300w and have no problem. Just make sure its a quality power supply.

I currently have a 300 Watt Antec in my Slot A system running a DVD Drive, CDRW, Zip, 2 Hard Drives, Geforce 2, and 4 PCI cards.

I have had no problems at all.

If you have a good quality Power Supply you will be alright.
