But how so they play? I can get numbers all day long, is all about how fluid the game is.
Titanfall, Wolfenstein, Watch Dogs will all have frame time issues running Ultra textures/unable to select this setting with a 2GB card. The fact that 770 costs $300+ makes it an even harder pill to swallow, not to mention 280X and 290 make that card irrelevant on both sides of the price curve.
If someone wants NV, with 970/980 likely being announced September 18, I don't see any reason to spend $300 on a 770 card now considering it is 2.5 years old tech. I don't think it's worth it to buy a $300 card in hopes of gaming on it for 2-3 years and expecting no future AAA games to utilize more than 2GB of VRAM.
