I would like to know if all 2.8GHz has c1 stepping??///
How do I k n ow if the processor has it.....
Is it shown on the retail Box
 
2.5(400MHz FSB), 2.66(533MHz), 2.6(400MHz), 2.8(533MHz), 3.06(533MHz) are the ones that are garaunteed to be C1.

the c1 stepping is the latest chip version being produced. It is supposed to overclock really well. Small changes were made, along with a default Vcore of 1.525 volts, to get the P4 chips up to and over 3 ghz when compared to the b0 stepping that was the predecessor.
