Hey all, although i cannot mess with my 8rda+ system now (board is begin RMA'd)
i was planning on overclocking my 1700+.. I most likely won't take it there, but if i feel the CPU has a lot of head room i just might...

So the question is,

Anyone run 2.0 for LONG periods of time... I know after 1.9 those temps are a risin...

:D

I usually see that over 1.85V is not recommended, as it can cause damage that you will likely experience during the CPU's stay in your computer.

Well i figured that at 2.0 you are going to cut some years of that CPU's life span...

But considering that most go for about 10yrs if it makes it for 3 thats more than long enough before i would upgrade again...

On the other hand, if its not stable at 1.8-1.85 then its most likely all the further your gonna get...
